Howie B. DeWin, the world’s latest and greatest hip-hop hobo, is a professional clown and family entertainer. She orchestrates a high-energy show of classic clown lunacy featuring routines, sleight of hand, singing, dancing, comic relief, and audience participation.

DeWin also enjoys performances, interactions, and memory making at Children's Birthday Parties, Corporate Events, Trade Shows, Grand Openings, Fundraisers, Banquets, Conventions, and the Salvation Army.

This hobo’s scruffy attire, down-to-earth makeup, infectious smile, and twinkling eyes, make her an unimposing character that others warm up to quickly. And, her warm-hearted sense of humor draws in even those who are hesitant towards clowns.

What Does a Hobo Clown Do?

Conductor by day, Entertainer by night,
Music and Magic are my delight.

I ride my bike and roller-skate; I don’t drive a car,
I hop on a freight train when I want to go far.

It matters not where my locomotive might go,
Once we leave the station, the magic will flow.

From the runaway boxcars to the grey goose caboose,
My train’s humorous cargo will chase away blues.

Buy a ticket, plan a trip, and book my next tour.
The world of whimsicality will stop by your door.

I donned rubber gloves and burned a red wig,
Then sang a few songs and danced a new jig.
I dropped all my hats, but the “best” was retrieved,
With my new happy face, the crowd was relieved.

My joeys and I were waiting to be snatched,
Our song, dance, and rhyme could never be matched.
We watched others laugh until they might cry,
Riding shotgun on chair, I thought I might die.

Moments of orientation were too many to call,
Practice was required to accomplish each “fall”
The young and the old, and those in between,
Brought magic to us as we watched them be…
