About The Ohio College of Clowning Arts
Attention Actors and Comedians: The fall class of The Ohio College of Clowning Arts is now forming and is limited to just 12 students. The extensive curriculum on character development, writing and executing routines, and physical comedy training is applicable to your art form!
The Ohio College of Clowning Arts is now in its 19th year of training students in the ancient and honorable art form of clowning with a particular focus on physical comedy.
'Clowning like acting is about doing. What we do is broad physical comedy. We understand that the laugh is not in the words but in the body. Thus we teach students how to use their bodies to entertain and get laughs,' offers Robert Kreidler, Headmaster.
How the Fund Raiser Works
The Oreck Retail stores in Mayfield Heights and in N. Olmsted are supporting OCC through a unique fundraising event scheduled for June 8th – 10th, 2007. The money raised will be used to establish a scholarship fund for potential students in need of financial assistance.
On Friday, June 8, from 2pm to 4pm, you can stop at the Mayfield Hts location and meet Rufus D. Dufus (Robert Kreidler), or the N. Olmsted location and meet Jamdealie D. Light (2007 Class Graduate). Bring the kids!
While you’re there, watch a free demo of the American-Made Oreck products and receive a FREE Oreck Car Vac! Make any purchase (even a small can of window cleaner) and Oreck donates 15% of the sale to OCC.
