About Deborah Hercsek
As a member of national and local Ohio storytelling associations as well as Clowns of America International, I have shared laughter and have used my stories in the classroom as a teacher and on the stage as a professional storyteller and clown.
After earning a bachelor’s degree in Education from the University of Akron, I finished my master’s degree in Reading and the Story Arts at East Tennessee State University, then received a diploma from the Ohio Clown College.
My workshops, magic, balloon sculptures and well-told tales have been witnessed by audiences in libraries, churches, community groups, restaurants, youth camps, Metro Parks Systems, festivals and schools across the United States, Mexico, Germany, Austria, Czech Republic and Kenya, Africa.
